Rhodri Samuel

Rhodri is a leader and social entrepreneur with many years experience of serving the evolution and regeneration of historic and sacred places.

He spent 15 years directing the co-creation and delivery of a long-term vision, story and regeneration programme for the city of Bath, working collaboratively with multiple citizens and stakeholders. Key projects included the revival of the Spa, the City Identity Project, the design and development of new quarters of the city and the transformation of Bath’s streets, public spaces and neglected riverside. He also helped foster the city’s creative community, co-founding the Creative Bath network which led to Bath being identified as a Top 10 UK Creative City by NESTA.

He then spent five years as CEO of the Dartington Hall Trust and Estate in Devon, rebuilding relationship and trust with the local community and overseeing new strategies for the future of Schumacher College, Dartington School for Social Entrepreneurs, Dartington Summer School and Festival of Music and a major programme of social justice, wellbeing and regenerative agriculture projects.

Rhodri has been a student of wisdom for over 30 years. He has a growing interest in land healing and regenerative farming and is a non-executive director of a biodynamic farm, food hub, and wellbeing centre. He is also a part of the Spirited Leaders network, has a Fellowship in Socially Responsible Leadership from the Forward Institute and is a Fellow of the RSA.
